30 Days of Biking
A new challenge for the month of April is being posed to the citizens of earth, especially the ones using twitter, it seems. 30 days of biking is an initative through the month that begins today.
The rules are simple – ride your bike at least once a day. Those who commute will find the challenge quite easy! If not, then start easy. Just go on a quick cycle around the local area, around the block or to the shops. You don’t have to be a bucket of sweat – take it easy. Plus, with the nice weather due (hopefully!) we should have fine cycling weather. There’s nothing more amazing then going on a brisk cycle along the coast!
The challenge ends on April 30th, but I would encourage anyone who takes it up to actually continue cycling. Dublin cycling figures are up, and continuing. One report called us the new Amsterdam – lets show the Dutch how we do it!
If you’re on twitter, use the hashtag #30daysofbiking when discussing your endeavour. Already it’s a busy hashtag with lots of people taking up the challenge!
